Meet the Open Show Judge for Ring 2
Will Coor, originally from Selma, North Carolina, grew up on a small family owned cattle farm. Will attended Black Hawk East Junior College where he was a member of the 2013 National Champion Junior College Livestock Judging Team. After his time at Black Hawk East, he went on to attend Western Illinois University where he completed his senior collegiate livestock judging career and received his B.S in Ag Business. On top of being a member of numerous champion livestock judging teams, Will also served as a board member for the American Junior Chianina Association during his junior career. Will has had the opportunity to judge all species on various local, state, and national levels. Will, alongside of his wife Lauren and son Stokely, now reside in Hillsboro, Ohio where they help operate Maplecrest Farms alongside their family. Maplecrest Farms focuses on raising Angus and Sim-Angus genetics for their commercial and seedstock buyers. Will’s main focus is raising high quality show cattle in multiple breeds to be offered in Maplecrest show heifer sales biannually. Will’s greatest joy comes from being able to provide show cattle for junior members and working along side them and their families at all events.
