World Beef Expo will pay out $35,000 in cash for the Top 5 in Open and Junior Shows for 2022

World Beef Expo is pleased to announce that they will be paying $35,000 in cash prizes at the 30th Anniversary Expo.

The Junior Prospect Steer Show, Junior Market Steer Breed Show and the Junior Crossbred Market Animal Show will each pay out a total of $4,000 to the Top 5.

The Open Show Supreme Drive Top 5 Bull, Heifer and Cow Calf Pair and the Junior Heifer Show will each pay out a total of $5750 for the Top 5.

Entries are still being accepted for the 2022 World Beef Expo, which will take place September 22-25, 2022 at Wisconsin State Fair Park. Entries will close on September 11, 2022.

More about the 2022 World Beef Expo:
World Beef Expo will have Open Shows on Thursday and Friday. Friday’s shows conclude with the Supreme Champion Cattle Drive, a spectacular event showcasing the best of the best. There will be cash payouts of $5750 for the Top Five in Cow/Calf Pair, Bull and Heifer.

On Saturday, there is a full schedule of events starting with the Collegiate and Youth Livestock Judging Contest at 9:00 a.m. In the afternoon, there will be a Youth Showmanship Contest including a Pee Wee division. Later, there will be a Junior Prospect Steer Show, Junior Market Steer Breed Shows and a Crossbred Animal Show (includes market heifers), each with cash prizes totaling $4000 for the Top Five.

On Sunday, there will be a Junior Heifer Show with all Breed Champions and Reserve Champions competing for the Overall Top Five Heifers with a total of $5750 in cash prizes.

An indoor/outdoor trade show and silent auction will also be held during the Expo. You can view the complete schedule on their website. All Events are open to the public.
