Each year, people from around the country visit Milwaukee for one of the Midwest's largest cattle expositions - World Beef Expo. World Beef
Expo offers a variety of educational seminars, Youth Sweepstakes contests, the World Beef Expo Elite Sale and a trade show. People of all ages come to show, buy and sell cattle while enjoying a weekend of fun with friends and family!
The 2010 World Beef Expo hosted seventeen breed shows, in which nearly 200 exhibitors from fourteen different states showed 508 head of cattle. Another 281 head were on display during Sunday's Junior Show.
This year's World Beef Expo, which takes place September 22-25, 2011 at Wisconsin State Fair Park, will be the 19th Annual. We are excited to be hosting an Angus Super ROV Show, the National Murray Grey Show, and more than a dozen other breed shows. We're proud to welcome all of our exhibitors, and we hope you enjoy the 2011 World Beef Expo!

The first World Beef Expo was held in Madison, Wisconsin on April 16-18, 1993. Held for three years in the spring at the Dane County Coliseum, the World Beef Expo continued to expand. In 1996 the event was moved to Milwaukee and changed to a fall show to better accommodate the large event.
For the last 14 years the World Beef Expo has been held at the Wisconsin State Fair Park. The event has been a success since 1993 and continues to be one of the biggest cattle shows in the Midwest.

It takes many volunteers to make World Beef Expo run smoothly. Our committees and board members work year-round to organize and build a successful expo.
